As Hera Technologies continues to expand in Aerospace, Defense and Space we are looking for an individual that will support the growth and vision of delivering the state of art manufacturing components to our customers.
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of all equipment, and physical infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, functional, and comfortable environments for employees and visitors. This candidate will need to be mechanically inclined, proactive, capable of working independently and working with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections of the building systems, including mechanical equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical
• Diagnose and repair minor moderate issues with doors, office furniture, patch & paint walls
• Respond promptly to any production issue and record your findings through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Preventive maintenance on critical equipment by monitoring or replacing key components
• Monitor equipment performances and report signs of possible wear or imminent failure
• Identify and report hazardous conditions, spills, or safety risks
• Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors or contractors for specialized repairs
Required Qualifications
• Education Level – High School diploma or GED; Vocational/technical training in a relevant trade (HVAC/Electrician/Plumber)
• Technical Expertise – 5 or more years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• Collaboration & Communication – Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and comfortabe with communicating verbally or written.
• Problem Solving & Analysis – Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills across multiple trades
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Ability to understand electrical schematics/equipment drawings or operating manuals
• Physical ability to lift to 50lbs, work at heights, and stand or kneel for extended time
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime (weekdays or weekends)
- Ability to use a computer for submitting reports and tracking work orders
- Ability to maintain a clean environment
- Ability to work at heights using a ladder or scissor lift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
